Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL driver to join our team in Texas. The role combines delivering products to job sites with warehouse duties, requiring excellent customer service and safe driving.

The successful candidate will operate a moffett forklift, maintain a clean warehouse, and contribute to on-site operations with a team-oriented mindset. Responsibilities include balancing deliveries with warehouse tasks, adhering to safety and quality standards, and representing Lansing

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service, integrity and positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience are a plus.

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative delivering outstanding customer service.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse work.
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites.
• Provides exceptional service to Lansing customers and improves service levels.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
• Takes on additional duties as needed (cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.).

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
