Job summary

Lansing Building Products seeks a CDL Driver in Orlando to deliver for customers and support warehouse operations. You will split time between driving and warehouse tasks, representing Lansing with professionalism and a focus on service.

Responsibilities include operating a 30' straight box truck, using a Moffett forklift, and assisting with inventory while maintaining safety and accuracy. CDL B or A, a clean record, and ability to lift 70 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• CDL license (B or A) is required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

This position will focus on making deliveries with a 30' straight box truck, while assisting in the warehouse as needed and serving as a backup driver for the straight truck Flatbed and Moffett.

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
