Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL driver to support daily deliveries and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment. You will represent Lansing at customer sites, ensure accurate and timely deliveries, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer service. A CDL license, clean driving record, and ability to lift heavy loads are required; forklift experience is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites; provide outstanding service.
• Use a moffett forklift to make deliveries; ensure safe handling of loads.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and assist with cycle counts or inventory as needed.
• Be a frontline Lansing representative and uphold the company mission and values.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
