Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a CDL delivery driver to support on-site delivery operations in Missouri. You will load, transport, and unload merchandise, ensure on-time deliveries, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with drivers, inspecting loads for accuracy, and maintaining DOT safety compliance. A valid CDL and medical certificate are required, with 21+ age and good MVR records. Experience with loading equipment and delivery apps is a plus.

Qualifications

Class A CDL required for multi-unit CMV operations; Class B with air brake may apply in some locations.
Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
Ability to pass MVR check and meet DOT regulations.
Must be 21 years of age and able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if law requires.

Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and assisting with loading and locating merchandise.
Communicate product information, warranties and delivery details to customers.
Coordinate with truck driver for delivery calls and update customers accordingly.
Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and ensure on-time delivery.
Load and unload merchandise, verify quantities, and inspect items before delivery.
Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery; maintain vehicle safety checks.
