Job summary

RP Lumber Co. is seeking a Driver CDL to deliver lumber and building materials with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The role requires loading/unloading, paperwork accuracy, and adherence to DOT regulations.

The position involves driving company trucks, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and assisting yard staff when not on the road. A CDL with endorsements and a clean driving record are preferred, with additional certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 6–12 months related experience or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Pre-employment drug testing and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer job sites using efficient routes while following traffic laws and company policies.
• Unload or assist in unloading using crane, conveyor, or by hand.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met with friendly, professional service.
• Secure returning loads on the vehicle before leaving the site.
• Complete required paperwork for deliveries and transfers for inventory control.
