The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) is seeking a Compliance Auditor to support the CDL Compliance Unit in Blythewood, SC. You will audit driver training schools, third-party testers, and related entities for regulatory compliance, and you may work statewide as needed.

You will investigate complaints, prepare clear reports, and serve as a subject matter expert on CDL programs. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to travel as necessary.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience with audits or inspections is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains a current list of assigned entities and ensures audits/inspections are performed.
• Conducts audits/inspections of driver training schools and third-party testers for compliance.
• Investigates complaints involving CDL programs and coordinates with agencies as needed.
• Educates stakeholders on program requirements and responds to inquiries.
• Performs pre-inspections, on-site and remote inspections, and administers written tests for instructor certification.
