Job summary

Austin Powder in Midland, Texas is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver/Operator to safely transport bulk products and operate mobile manufacturing units on customer sites. You will report to the Location Manager and support the home base location as part of the team.

The role blends driving with hands-on bulk production work, requiring early hours, outdoor work in all weather, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required; clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Able to read and interpret gauges and maintain logs.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are highly preferred.
• Must be 21+ and able to work very early hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely.
• Drive 20–30% of the time; perform manual labor rest of the time.
• Transport goods, inventory, and hazardous materials.
• Load/unload materials; ensure loads match manifests.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain driving and delivery logs.
• Comply with regulations and company policies.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units on site to produce bulk products.
• Report maintenance needs to Location Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
