Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class A/B Driver/Operator to safely transport our products and support on-site operations. You will run mobile manufacturing units and handle bulk materials with precision, reporting to the Location Manager.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and adhering to regulatory safety standards while delivering quality service at customer sites. Flexibility for early hours is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL with clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Read gauges and regulate to standards.
• Maintain records of daily operations and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues in the field.
• Hazmat, tanker and air brake endorsements preferred.
• Must meet DOT age requirement and regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% and perform labor with hand tools outside.
• Coordinate mechanical systems to deliver emulsion.
• Transport goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and cargo.
• Maintain logs, verify loads against manifests, track hours.
• Load/unload, transport materials with fall protection as needed.
• Operate MMUs at customer sites to produce bulk products.
• Master bulk equipment operation to ensure product quality.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Operate equipment with precise chemical control.
• Hands-on operation and maintenance at site and client locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
