Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a qualified Class A CDL driver to operate tractor-trailer units across varied terrains and routes. You will be responsible for safe driving, compliance with FMCSA regulations, and ensuring timely delivery of freight.

The role includes performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintaining trip records, and assisting with dock work as needed. A Hazmat endorsement and a strong safety record are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet FMCSA requirements and hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the service center.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and operate forklift with 7500 lb capacity.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain required records and paperwork for shipments and compliance.
• Load/unload freight as needed and assist on the dock when required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate with Fleet Services and supervision as needed.
