The role includes loading/unloading duties and potential dock work, with a focus on professional service to customers. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years old and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Able to operate forklift safely.
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; ensure safe driving practices.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues as needed.
• Secure cargo and verify unit numbers against paperwork.
• Perform loading/unloading duties and dock work as required by the route.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public; work independently or in a team.
