Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a CDL Class A driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role offers an attractive sign-on bonus and requires flexibility to cover varying schedules while upholding safety and service standards.

Starting wage ranges from $24.00 to $30.75 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and weekend optional overtime. Eligible employees may receive benefits such as health and dental insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A license or completion of company-paid CDL training.
• Doubles/triples endorsement preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any vehicle mechanical issues.
• Collect payments as needed and verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
