Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying schedules while upholding safety, service, and on-time delivery standards.

Starting wage is $24.00–$30.75 per hour, with 10–15 hours overtime per week and voluntary OT on weekends. Full-time, benefits include health and dental insurance, PTO, 401(k), and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license or complete company training.
• Eligibility to obtain doubles/triples endorsement.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes as needed.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers promptly.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify pickup contents on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
