Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes, supporting daily delivery operations with flexibility for varying schedules. This full-time role emphasizes safety, service, and on-time deliveries across routes.

The position offers 10-15 hours of overtime weekly, with paid overtime after 40 hours and a starting wage of $24.00–$30.75/hour, depending on experience. Must hold CDL Class A or complete company training.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL Class A license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and handle vehicle safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant, or unassigned routes based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals.
