Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes to support daily delivery operations, with flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start until route completion, with 10-15 hours of overtime weekly and voluntary weekend OT.

Starting wage is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license or complete company-paid CDL training.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report mechanical issues with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify shipments on papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals and assignments.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
