Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes while upholding safety, service, and delivery standards.

Starting wage is $24.00–$28.00 per hour with overtime opportunities. Duties include route coverage, loading, and timely freight delivery, with potential travel and occasional weekend OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A license OR company-paid CDL training program required.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Travel may be required; participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
