Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is opening a new branch in November 2026 and is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes to support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes while upholding safety, service, and delivery standards.

Starting wage ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is paid after 40 hours, with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and optional weekend OT.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A license or company-paid training.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight, loading trucks and other duties as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
