Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply - Spring Hill is seeking a Local CDL Driver with Class A or B to safely deliver products to customer sites within a local radius from the Spring Hill branch. No overnight stays, with overtime opportunities during busy seasons and a focus on safety and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining records, and adhering to FMCSA and DOT regulations. Candidates must have a valid CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 pounds, and pass

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License - CLASS A or Class B.
• Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
• Knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations is a plus.
• HAZMAT endorsement is an asset.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to pass background check, pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

As our Local CDL Driver CLASS A or B, your primary responsibility will be to safely deliver products to customers' places of business or job sites within a maximum radius of your home branch. Enjoy the convenience of having your deliveries start and end at the branch, no overnight stays, and take advantage of overtime opportunities during busy seasons! Local day driving. Family time.

• Prioritize safety above all else!
• Comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle
• Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment
• Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed
• Understand and adhere to the FMCSA regulations
• Perform additional related duties, such as stocking, order entry, shipping, receiving, and more
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms

Requirements:

• Valid CDL License - CLASS A or Class B
• Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus
• HAZMAT endorsement is an asset
• Basic computer knowledge
• Forklift experience is helpful
• (Other type of truck experience is helpful ie:Moffett, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
