Job summary

Maersk Line Limited is seeking a CDL Class A driver to safely transport freight to customers and distribution centers. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate logs and delivery documents.

This full-time role requires a current DOT medical certification, hub-to-hub experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, and strong customer service. Expect rotating afternoon shifts with a demanding schedule and emphasis on safety and professional

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Hub to Hub experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation compliance standards.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and varying weather conditions.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CMVs, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, and other delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and vehicle issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and appearance.
