Job summary

Maersk is hiring a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers, and designated locations across the United States. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform inspections, secure cargo, and provide professional customer service.

The role offers a structured schedule, Monday–Friday, with competitive pay between $28 and $31 per hour, bi-weekly. Applicants must meet DOT requirements and maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• English language proficiency required.
• LTL/City driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CMVs including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight per routes and schedules.
• Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Follow DOT hours-of-service, safety, and company rules.
• Maintain logs and delivery documents accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes and issues.
• Maneuver vehicles at loading docks and customer sites.
• Report accidents or mechanical problems promptly.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and professional.
• Provide courteous service to customers and partners.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required.
