Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers, and other designated locations. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform inspections, secure cargo, and maintain records. Pay starts from $28.00 per hour with biweekly pay.

Shift is 1pm until route completion. Qualifications include CDL Class A, DOT medical, and strong customer service; English proficiency is required. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• Experience with LTL/City driving preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regs and hours-of-service.
• Ability to operate tractors safely in varied conditions.
• Accurate logs and transportation records.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Safety and regulatory compliance focus.
• Ability to work independently and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes and schedules.
• Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Properly load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo.
• Follow all DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and policies.
• Maintainlogs and delivery documents.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and changes.
• Maneuver vehicles at loading docks and customer sites.
• Report accidents, violations, and mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and work area.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
