Job summary

FedEx Freight is hiring for a driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers in Buffalo, NY. You will support the selling process and ensure accurate documentation and safe operation of equipment.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements, DOT regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Health benefits and a 401(k) plan are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements.
• 1 year experience in last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• DOT regulatory knowledge and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections and secure freight.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickup/delivery and generate leads.
