FedEx Freight in Buffalo, NY is seeking a professional driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers while supporting the selling process.

Qualified candidates hold a Class A CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements and have one year of recent driving experience or completed FedEx driver development. Kinetic attention to safety, accurate documentation, and good customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year of driving experience within the last three years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have an acceptable MVR meeting hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR 391.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lb repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Handle freight using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight in trailers and inspect loads.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers.
