Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes, perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections, complete VCRs daily, and ensure compliance with safety standards and all regulations.

You will read route sheets, service each customer, load waste using the packer, maintain vehicle readiness, complete productivity sheets, and follow safety policies. Strong customer service and dependable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service each customer.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and report safety issues.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete required reports and productivity sheets.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
• Follow company policies and maintain timely and efficient service.
