Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services across assigned routes in Texas. The role requires daily compliance with safety standards, routine vehicle inspections, and timely completion of reports.

As a valued team member, you will interact with customers and dispatchers, follow route sheets, and ensure service is completed efficiently while maintaining a strong safety record and adherence to company

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to perform pre/post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safe operation of heavy trucks on assigned routes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the collection truck along the route and service customers.
• Read route sheets, follow maps, and report body/container issues.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and reports as required.
