Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a CDL B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle readiness, comply with safety standards, and complete daily VCRs for timely repairs.

The role requires reporting to dispatchers, maintaining equipment, and upholding courtesy and professionalism with customers and co-workers. Eligible benefits are provided and compensation ranges accordingly.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service each customer as identified.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Maintain vehicle condition reports (VCRs) and route/productivity sheets.
• Follow safety policies and promote company safety standards.
