Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs, while following all regulations.

The role emphasizes diligent route execution, accurate reporting, and professional interaction with customers, dispatchers, and the public. A Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety equipment and controls are functional.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers on schedule.
• Load refuse using proper controls and dispose at the designated facility per safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and report safety issues.
• Monitor waste to prevent spillage and adhere to safety standards.
