Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to operate a collection truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes in the United States. The role requires adherence to safety standards, completion of VCRs, and responsive communication with dispatchers and customers.

The position emphasizes courteous service, professional conduct, and reliable performance, with a pay range of $19.35 to $26.62 per hour and a benefits program including medical, 401(k), ESPP, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Strong time management and follow-through to meet safety and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate a heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers.
• Tag unsatisfactory waste containers and report safety issues.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports.
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
