Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Driver– CDL (B) to operate a collection truck safely and provide prompt waste removal services to customers on assigned routes. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of reports.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route to service each customer.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
