Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires pre/post inspections, adherence to safety standards, and daily completion of VCRs and reports.

You will service scheduled routes and maintain vehicle readiness for efficient operation, upholding company policies and DOT regulations. This union position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified.
• Read route sheet, follow map and ensure timely service to customers.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues daily.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and required reports; adhere to safety policies.
