Job summary

Republic Services in the United States seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck, provide prompt, courteous waste removal, and ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards before each trip.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-op inspections, loading waste, recording VCRs and daily reports, communicating with customers and dispatch, and maintaining readiness to meet schedule while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety.
• Safely operate the collection truck along the route and service each customer as identified by the dispatcher.
• Load and dispose of waste, operate the packer blade, and ensure vehicle is operationally ready.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and VCRs; maintain safety standards at all times.
• Communicate courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers to ensure timely service.
