Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL B to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and follow all state and federal regulations.

The role emphasizes on-time service, adherence to safety policies, and positive interactions with customers and dispatchers on a route-by-route basis.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with air brakes endorsement is required.
• PR/inspection and safety compliance are essential responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the collection truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Operate controls to lift, load refuse, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues on a daily basis.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
