Job summary

Keolis Transit America in Barstow, CA is seeking a qualified Dispatcher/Customer Service Associate with a CDL Class B. You will be the first line of response for incidents, assist operators to maintain on-time pullouts, and ensure safety inspections meet standards.

You must have a clean DMV record, pass DOT medical, drug screen, criminal background checks, and be comfortable using iPad, smartphone, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class B with passenger and airbrakes endorsement.
• Clean DMV record and maintain record checks.
• Excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
• Proficient with iPad, cellphone, and PC.
• Intermediate MS Office and email experience.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Able to work independently and with all departments.
• Flexible schedule; 24/7 availability including weekends/holidays.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• First line of response in incidents and accidents.
• Assist operators with on-time pullouts.
• Ensure pre-trip inspections meet performance standards.
• Help maximize on-time performance and productivity through service adjustments.
• Observe operators to ensure high quality service.
• Support investigation of passenger concerns.
• Respectfully enforce policies and procedures.
• Monitor driving skills and ensure licensing/certifications are valid.
• Assist dispatch and maintenance with field vehicle changes.
• Provide feedback to safety and operations on service items.
