Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is hiring a Residential Driver to safely operate a collection truck and serve residential customers on assigned routes in Michigan. The role requires a valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement and 1 year of driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to read route sheets, maps and communicate effectively with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential collection truck safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on assigned routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors about issues or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle; follow DOT regulations.
