Job summary

Responsibilities include operating a straight truck, meeting route times, and assisting with loading as needed while maintaining strong customer relations and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• One-year route delivery experience or background driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• English language proficiency sufficient to converse with customers and understand road signs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequent lifting and stacking of pallets up to 75–100 pounds; handle loading/unloading duties as required.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate errors/returns to management.
• Handles customer complaints professionally.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
