Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Missouri seeks a dependable Route Delivery Driver to execute daily routes with frequent stops and to load/unload product using hand trucks. You will operate in a cross-dock model, transporting items from dock to customer storage areas and ensuring accuracy with signatures and documentation.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred), at least one year of route delivery experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• One year of route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1–75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets and hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies to management.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and follow DOT regulations and company procedures.
