Job summary

Sysco is seeking a CDL-B Local Delivery Truck Driver to operate daily routes, unload at stops, and assist with loading when needed while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

You will load products, verify deliveries, communicate with customers, manage route timing, and work in a cross-dock model; a minimum of one year of route delivery experience and a valid Class B license are required along with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One-year route delivery experience or related driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily routes with frequent stops and unload at each stop.
• Load packages onto hand trucks and assist with loading when needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Communicate errors/returns to management.
• Pre-trip inspections and DOT compliance.
