Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to perform daily route deliveries, load and unload at customer locations, and operate in a cross-dock environment.

The role requires inspecting prior to trips, following safety rules, and delivering professional customer service while meeting route times and accuracy. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reporting.
• Touch freight: lift 40–60 lbs, up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Lift or move product weighing up to 100 pounds, stack pallets with a hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order.
• Handle customer complaints professionally
• Follow driver safety rules and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
