Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt waste removal services. The role requires ensuring the vehicle complies with safety standards, completing daily vehicle condition reports, and adhering to state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, following route sheets, loading waste, and servicing customers while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Previous experience operating heavy trucks and completing proper vehicle reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service customers on schedule.
• Load refuse, operate truck controls, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and VCRs daily.
