Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. You will ensure the vehicle complies with safety standards and complete daily reports to document conditions and service activity.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operation inspections, route servicing, loading refuse, operating the packer, and maintaining courteous interactions with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports daily.
