Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly.

You will perform thorough pre- and post-operation inspections, read route sheets, service customers on your route, and load waste with the packer while maintaining professional customer interactions and adherence to

Qualifications

• Must hold Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a heavy collection truck safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in working order.
• Safely operate the assigned route, service customers, and follow dispatcher directions to the disposal site.
• Load refuse using the packer and dispose at designated facilities in compliance with safety policies.
• Document routine reports including VCRs and productivity sheets; maintain on-time service.
• Maintain safety and courteous interactions with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
