Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a driver to support loading, unloading, and on-site delivery operations. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class B CDL, NCCCO certification with knuckleboom experience, and at least 12 months of verifiable driving. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and communicate effectively with teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL license in good standing.
• NCCCO Certification and knuckleboom truck experience are required.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, following DOT safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting or carrying products up to 75 lbs+.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for safe loading/unloading.
