Job summary

Austin Powder in Newnan, GA is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, operate mobile manufacturing units, and provide labor support at job sites. You’ll report to the Location Manager and contribute to site success and customer satisfaction.

The position requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), ability to work outdoors in all weather, and strong safety/compliance focus. Expect early hours, manual tasks, and accurate logs and records to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL (Class A or B) and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Experience with loading/unloading and basic document checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of time; perform physical labor with tools outside in the elements.
• Coordinate and handle mechanical mechanisms to deliver emulsion.
• Transport goods and hazardous materials to destinations and verify loads against manifests.
• Maintain logs and report working hours; ensure proper loading/unloading and inventory accuracy.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units at customer sites to produce bulk blasting products.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs to Location Manager.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies governing bulk/explosive deliveries.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; read and interpret safety documents and manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
