Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and lead crews on customer projects. The role involves coordinating with Field Technicians for cleanups, spills, and HazMat decon work, with rotating days, nights, weekends, and possible out-of-town travel.

You will perform pre/post inspections and complete electronic logs while prioritizing health and safety. The position requires a CDL B or higher with hazmat and tanker endorsements, and TWIC clearance may be

Qualifications

• Class CDL B or higher with hazardous material and tanker endorsements.
• On-call and rotating shifts.
• Must pass safety and compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment with GVW greater than 26,000 lbs (e.g., Roll-off trucks, tractor/trailers, Liquid Vacuums).
• Lead crews to complete customer projects and coordinate with Field Technicians on cleanups, spills, HazMat decon work.
• Perform pre/post-operation vehicle inspections and complete required logs/reports.
• Maintain safety practices and adhere to company policies; may require out-of-town travel.
