Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver/Operator (CDL B) in Rahway, NJ to operate heavy equipment safely and lead crews on customer projects. The role involves rotating shifts, on-call duties for emergencies, and occasional out-of-town travel.

The position requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC clearance, and a strong safety mindset. You will work with Field Technicians on cleanups, COVID and Hazmat decon tasks while maintaining accurate logs and vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Class CDL B or higher with hazardous material and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll-off trucks, tractor/trailers, Liquid Vacs and other equipment safely.
• Lead crews to complete customer projects and coordinate with Field Technicians.
• Complete required logs, reports and inspections, including pre/post vehicle inspections.
