Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential pickups around Terrell, TX. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, report safety issues, and maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A/B license preferred; Class B required.
• Clean MVR with no more than one moving violation in 3 years.
• Residential waste hauling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a waste hauling truck for residential pickups.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with trucking rules, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations to management.
• Other duties as needed.

Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Qualifications
