Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver for a Full Time Manual Labor role in Crockett, TX. You will operate a waste hauling truck for residential pick up, travel about 150 miles from home, and ensure safety checks and reporting of issues.

The job offers weekly pay, health plans, life insurance, a 5% company match retirement plan, and PTO. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home.

Full Time Manual Labor Crockett, TX, US

Reports To: Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home


• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections


• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures


• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions


• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations


• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily


• Monday-Friday


• Additional hours may be needed


• Shift is 10-12 Hours
