Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions in Springdale, AR is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickups. You’ll drive about 150 miles from home, perform safety inspections, and report maintenance needs.

Shift is typically Monday–Friday with home daily and weekly pay. The role includes health plans, vision, life insurance, retirement plan with up to 5% company match and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable Class B driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a waste hauling truck around 150 miles from home.
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Comply with truck driving rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Carry out other duties as needed.

Reports To: Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
