Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions seeks a CDL Class B Truck Driver to perform residential waste collection in Tyler, TX. You will operate a waste hauling truck, collect and deposit waste into a compactor, and report any safety issues.

The role is full-time and home daily, with a schedule of Monday–Friday and potential overtime. You will inspect vehicles, comply with all regulations, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B driving experience preferred.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A/B

Responsibilities

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations

CDL Class B - Waste Collection- ROLL OFF

Reports To

Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
