Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck for residential trash and recycling pickup. You will cover around 150 miles from home, perform safety inspections, and report any issues to management. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to regulations, and punctuality in a home-based schedule.

The position offers weekly pay, life insurance, a 5% company match retirement plan, PTO, and other employee benefits to eligible applicants.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B driving experience preferred.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR in the last 3 years.

Mansioni

• Operate a waste hauling truck over approximately 150 miles from home daily.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with truck rules, regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks for loading/unloading and report any defects or incidents.
• Carry out additional duties as needed.

Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule:

• Home Daily
• Monday-Friday
• Additional hours may be needed
• Shift is 10-12 Hours

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class B driving experience preferred
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years
• CDL Class A/B
