Randstad USA is seeking a qualified CDL-A Driver to operate a tractor trailer and transport frozen food products. The role involves dock-to-dock movement, daily trips to an offsite storage facility, and strict adherence to OSHA/DOT safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, securing loads, route planning, and maintaining accurate logs. The position requires 2 years of experience, a High School education, and a valid CDL-A license.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• CDL-A license required.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections.

Aufgaben

• Operate a tractor trailer to transport frozen foods.
• Move trailers between dock areas.
• Position trailers into storage areas.
• Make daily trips to offsite storage facility (~15 miles).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle.
• Follow OSHA and DOT safety regulations.
• Report defects or incidents.
• Ensure trailers and equipment are secured.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle service.
• Load/unload cargo and secure goods.
• Communicate with dispatchers/customers.
• Attend required training (Quality Control, HR, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
